Glacier Road


Further east, the terrain gave way to slate grey sand,
glaciers to our left, green vertical cliffs to our right. 


 

We had thirty kilometers
and four hours to go.


It is really difficult to capture a glacier at a distance.
It looks like low lying cloud cover:


 There were two glaciers on this road.
One was massive and sprawling,
the other seemed to perch on top of the mountain ridge:



Honestly, the sheep are everywhere.
It was difficult to spot the food source out there.
